‘Us’ is a film created from a collection of over 2,000 photographs I captured from various movie scenes that resonated with me. I used subtitles as ready-made lines — borrowing expressions, imagery, and context — to build a new narrative and “paint a picture.” Much like in real life, where the words we speak are often borrowed.
